Press Releases

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Chicago, November 2005

With marketing budgets constantly fluctuating and expectations forever growing, event marketers often face an uphill battle when it comes to developing an event strategy that leverages the marketing mix. Sometimes just trying to build business alignment and justify participation in an event is an even greater challenge.

"My strategic approach to event marketing is all about facilitating, easing, opening, accelerating, and shortening the sales cycle. That's it! says event marketing guru Allison Saget." "From an overview perspective, whether an event is produced to reach two people or 20,000, there is an integrated event marketing methodology that I have developed to get any company to their end goal with their desired target audience."

In her new savvy guide,
The Event Marketing Handbook: Beyond Logistics and Planning (Dearborn Trade Publishing, paperback, $22.95, January 2006), seasoned consultant Allison Saget, discusses how organizations can reach their sales goals and objectives through her unique EventBLT™ approach Brand Recognition, Lead Generation, and Thought Leadership. The Event Marketing Handbook provides advice and tips on everything from positioning and messaging, to assessing your target audience, to integrating press and analyst relations. While newbies and students will get a step-by-step approach to planning and managing events that will effectively meet organizational objectives, veteran event managers and marketers will find many new hints for achieving their company's business goals. Readers will learn first hand:

  • What kind of creative tools most improve brand recognition
  • How to generate solid leads before, during, and after an event
